Kate Peckham
Acting Director
Kate has 14 years of professional theater experience and is one of the most sought after actresses in town. Kate has worked at The Planet Ant, The Theatre, Detroit Women’s Shakespeare Project and at The Purple Rose Theatre in a critically acclaimed production of The Hot L Baltimore, directed by Jeff Daniels. She has appeared in several national commercial spots, on television and on the silver screen in films such as, “Almost Famous” and “Super Sucker.” She studied with Anthony Meindl at the Actors’ Lab and also directed and co-wrote “Waking the Witch” for the Planet Ant Theatre and received a nomination from the Oakland Press for best new script by a local playwright.
Kate is a graduate of The University of Detroit-Mercy and has received two Detroit Free Press nominations, one for Best Actress (The Good Times are Killing Me) and one for Best Supporting Actress (Bus Stop).
