Darrious Hilmon

Marketing and Development Director x4004

Darrious comes to Mosaic with over 15 years of experience in strategic marketing, fund development and nonprofit management. As the development director at Mosaic, Darrious is responsible for developing and directing Mosaic’s marketing plans and overseeing all fund raising activities. 
Prior to joining Mosaic Darrious was the vice president of marketing and development for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, In 1997, he co-founded The Hilmon Group, L.C., a public relations and event management firm whose clients included Henry Ford Health System, Central Michigan University, Warner Norcross and Judd LLP. Among its myriad successes, The Hilmon Group was selected to serve as event producers of, “A National Tribute to Rosa Parks.” The standing room only gala featured the presentation of the Congressional Medal of Honor to Mrs. Parks by Vice President Gore and a live concert performance by Aretha Franklin that rose over $1 million.
Darrious also directed the Metro Detroit operations of the United Negro College Fund. Under his leadership, Detroit’s, “Lou Rawls Parade of Starstelethon emerged as the top grossing edition in the educational charity $12.5 million national fundraising campaign.
