Mosaic’s young artists create shared performance experiences for you and your students that celebrate, challenge, and explore who we are. Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit’s student matinee offers school groups the opportunity to attend theatre and concert performances in the prestigious Detroit Institute of Arts at an affordable price during the school day. Orders are filled on a first come, first served basis. Most shows sell out quickly. We encourage you to reserve your seats promptly.

Singsation! Mosaic Singers in Concert

In the concert’s first act, the Mosaic Singers will take on the music they are best known for -- classical, spiritual, and world music. After intermission the Singers will start the party with popular hits from yesterday and today!

Back by popular demand! Now That I Can Dance – Motown 1962 follows the story of the Marvelettes and the early days of Motown when all of Motown's future stars -- from Stevie Wonder to Diana Ross to Smokey Robinson -- were teenagers. Now That I Can Dance is based on the personal experiences of original Marvellette, Katherine Anderson Schaffner, and other members of the Marvelettes, Vandellas, Miracles, Contours and countless Motown insiders. Now That I Can Dance provides a uniquely Detroit-centric, family-friendly evening of great music that will leave audiences dancing in the aisles!
